IPVS2022 confirms attendance in AMVEC2021 Congress

The IPVS – International Pig Veterinary Society confirms attendance in AMVEC2021 Congress, which will be 100% virtual, on August 4th and 5th, 2021.

The IPVS – International Pig Veterinary Society confirms attendance in AMVEC2021 Congress, which will be 100% virtual, on August 4th and 5th, 2021.

On this occasion, the veterinarian and president of the IPVS2022 Congress, the largest scientific and technical event in swine farming worldwide, Fernanda Almeida, will participate in the event presenting the Rio de Janeiro edition of the IPVS congress, which will be held next year, from June 21st to 24th , at Riocentro, with the theme: "New perspectives for the swine industry: biosecurity, productivity and innovation".

In addition, she will address the most relevant topics of the scientific program of the IPVS2022 Congress. "For the 2022 edition, the scientific committee has been working on some topics of global importance, such as ASF, which, between 2018 and 2019, reduced the pig population in China by about a third," Fernanda points out
